JOIN THE EXCITEMENT OF UNIFIED FLAG FOOTBALL!
Unified Flag Football is an inclusive, non-contact sport where athletes with and without
intellectual disabilities team up to compete in a fast-paced, fun 5v5 format. This is more
than just a game — it’s about building skills, fostering friendships, and creating a
supportive community where EVERY player has an important role.
Why Unified Flag Football?
1) Inclusive Teams: Each team combines athletes with and without intellectual disabilities working together
as one unstoppable unit.
2) Age Groups: Open to all boys and girls that will be in grades 3 rd - 8 th in the Fall. If there is enough
interest at lower grade levels we may add additional levels.
3) When: The Season will start the first week of August and run through October
4) Weekly Fun: Practices and games take place Sunday mornings in Hackettstown, lasting about 1 to 1.5 hours
5) Gear Up to Play: Every player receives their very own NFL Flag jersey to keep, plus a flag belt
and mouthpiece. Players just need cleats, water, and most importantly—a great attitude
6) Buddies Make It Better: Players without disabilities interested in joining must be enrolled
in our Pad-Level or All Girls’ Flag divisions and demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship
and leadership to become a buddy. These buddies are key to supporting and inspiring their teammates.
7) Get Involved: Parents are encouraged to volunteer and coach — help us grow this amazing program
8) Part of the Family: Unified athletes are celebrated members of the Tiger Football Club, participating
in all season activities — from our Combine, Tiger Night Pep Rally and Picture Day to our
Punt, Pass & Kick Challenge and end-of-year banquets!
We’re thrilled to launch this division and can’t wait to welcome players of all abilities to
the field. Ready to be part of something special?
